OPPORTUNITY LAUNCH

A Scholarship that is designed to support first-year college students by providing financial assistance and mentorship. This scholarship aims to ensure that students have the resources and guidance needed to successfully transition into higher education and set a solid foundation for their academic and career paths.

VERTICAL SHIFT

The Vertical Shift Scholarship aims to support students who aspire to attend college full-time but are limited to part-time enrollment due to financial constraints. This scholarship is designed to help these students increase their course load and make significant progress toward their educational goals by providing financial assistance and resources.

RAPID RISE

A Scholarship that aims to provide immediate financial assistance to students who are already enrolled in an academic institution and are facing unexpected financial hardships. This scholarship is designed to help students continue their education without interruption and to alleviate the stress of financial uncertainty.

WHO CAN APPLY:

1. Current Students: You must be enrolled in college or university or plan to attend the next immediate academic term.

2. Good Grades: You need a GPA of at least 3.0. If it has been many years >5 since you attended school , 2 letters of reference from work superior.

3. Financial Need: You must illustrate need of financial assistance.

4. Part-Time Students: You must be taking at least half-time classes.

5. Proof: You must provide documents showing your financial situation and recent changes.

HOW TO APPLY:

1. Application Form: Fill out the form with your personal, academic, and financial details.

2. Personal Statement: Write 500-700 words about your financial problems, how this scholarship will help, and your goals.

3. Proof of Enrollment: Submit a copy of your student ID or DL, or state ID , current class schedule, or a letter from the registrar.

4. Transcript: Provide your most recent academic transcript.

5. Financial Documents: Include recent bank statements, pay stubs, or proof of unexpected expenses.

SELECTION PROCESS

1. Financial Need: Students with the greatest need are given priority.

2. Academic Performance: Your grades will be considered for initial application and determine quarterly disbursement. Student must keep a 3.0 GPA or higher per semester.

3. Personal Statement: The quality and sincerity of your personal statement matters. There will also be an in person or virtual meeting with the Board of Directors for B2B.

AWARD DETAILS

1. Amount: Scholarship Awards range from $500 to $5,000 depending on need.

2. Disbursement: Funds go directly to you for school tuition, fees, or other financial needs impeding on school attendance.

3. One-Time Award: Each scholarship is usually a one-time scholarship per individual, but you can reapply if you still need support/assistance via mentor.
